Chivhu family was a cherished family in Manyanga village. Tadiwa was the only child in the family since her two brothers had paid the debt of nature after succumbing to Typhoid. She was a seventeen year old girl. The girl was the most gorgeous young lady in the village. Every gentleman adored her. Her beauty was like a gift from the gods. Her friends envied her beauty. Her parents were always in a state of bliss for her. This pretty lady looked like an angel. At Chakabaya Secondary school where she learnt, every student capitulated to her beauty. Other students sometimes diminished her because of jealous. However, the veracity was that Tadiwa was a beautiful girl.
The Chivhu family lived in abject poverty. The family was always looked down upon because of its sufferings. The family was always wretched with grief in the doldrums. One day MR Chamhamba the father of the family dashed at Nyamhunga`s house, a traditional healer. He sought for a way to get money. Nyamhunga told him to sacrifice his daughter Tadiwa. MR Chamhamba then found it necessary to offer his daughter for wealth. He then left and briskly rushed back home. He could not let the cat out of the sack to anyone. The next day, they planned for a journey to visit their auntie, as they trotted the thick forest plains, they were attacked by goons. Only Tadiwa perished and everyone else survived.
They could not continue with the journey. They went home mourning for their daughter but it was water under the bridge. After a couple of months, Mr. Chamhamba played lotto and won a million of dollars. His conscience never made him remember his atrocious sin but only focused on his fortune.
