I have been thinking a lot about one of the most powerful numbers that are amazing to have in the football pitch. If you see anyone putting on this Jersey number knows that they are what I call a game changer or a catalyst, only those who have changed the game of football.

Over the years number 10 has been given to amazing footballers who have changed and inspired people all over. We talk of legends like Pele, The great Ronaldo from Brazil, Ronaldinho, Zinedine zidane, Lionel Messi, Frank Lampard, and many others. I look at this number 10 and the game changer, I asked myself.

“What are the game changers in my own life?”

After days of pondering on this, I came up with four game changers. I have been using these Game Changers and they have been changing my life.

1) My thoughts

2) My words

3) My vision

4) My faith

My Thoughts

-On a day to day basis, what is your thought process like? What thoughts are taking your energy and attention? For anyone to be something it has to start in your mind. Your mind is the greatest mankind to humanity. Use your mind wisely and you will prosper. Joyce Meyer wrote a book called “battlefield of the mind” she says that everything starts in the mind. Someone once said “everything is created twice in your mind and the physical creation. What is your thought process like? Because you become what you spend most of your time thinking. This is about you and about your life. Your mind has the power to create anything and can frame the world that you want.

The thoughts and actions we do habitually through time determine our destiny. If I think negative thoughts and if I am filled with judgments towards myself and others, my actions will follow my thoughts and I will get what I focus on.

My Mouth

Set a guard over my mouth, LORD keep watch over the door of my lips. (Psalm 141:3).this verse made me think twice. There is nothing that is so dangerous than words. A sword will make you bleed, a gun will cut through the flash and you will recover but words spoken will scar you for life. Your words can either build your life or destroy it. Lou Tice wrote a book called “Self-Talk”. In this book, he talks of how your words that you speak to yourself have power over your life. When you wake up in the morning what are you saying to yourself? When you are about to go to bed what are you saying to yourself? The words that you speak either to yourself or to others are like a seed that you put into the ground one day it shall grow and you will harvest the fruits.

A Chinese proverb says

“Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words. Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits. Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character. Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny.”

What we think often comes out of our mouth and into someone else’s ears. Our words impact how we feel about ourselves and they can impact how others think and feel. Words are symbols that communicate what’s going on inside our heads to us and others. We share our fears, our sorrow, our joy, our love and our dreams with our words.

Our words create action. Our words can create intimacy or separation. With our words, we can motivate ourselves to do things we never thought we could do, and our words can also move others to step forward into their own personal power so they can be of service to their community. Words can calm us or excite us. Words can actually change the direction of a nation. So watch what you think and be aware of the words that come from your thoughts, and the actions that follow your words.

My Vision

Habakkuk 2vs2 says “without the vision the people perish”. Where are you going with your life? How far do you want to go? Vision will help you map up your life. Time and again you should cast your vision (see where you want to go and who you want to be) because as far as the eye can see so shall you be. See what you want and want what you see.

My Faith

As much as we are human beings we are also spiritual. What do you believe in as an individual, family, community, and nation? What are you teaching your children to believe in? Some believe in dolls, some in animals, money, ancestors but I do believe in GOD. Sometimes, when things don’t go according to plan, we lose faith, not only in ourselves but also in any potential outcome in our lives. Failure will do that to you. When we experience life’s monumental failures, it’s easy to lose hope and even faith. Faith, at its core, is deep-rooted in the expectation of good things to come. It goes beyond hope. While much of hope lives in the mind, faith is steeped in the heart and the spirit. It can’t be explained away by reason or logic, or be understood through a single dimension. While life can be hard at the best of times, faith is the knowledge, deep down inside, that things will get better. It’s taking the next step when you can’t see the entire staircase. Simply put, life would fail to have a reason if we didn’t have faith.

Faith, then, is just as important as the air we breathe. While the oxygen in the air nourishes the body, faith nourishes the heart and the soul. It’s the energy that courses through every single fiber and cell within our beings. It’s part of every muscle and every strand of thought. It is the fundamental foundation of our existence.

Why have faith?

  • 1. Faith helps you to discover your purpose in life
  • 2. Is the pathway to finding solutions?

Growing up I used to call the players like Theory Henry, Frank Lampard, and Pele football game changers but I never thought of changing my life/.i believe that I wasted time doing nothing but I decided that it is my life so I am responsible of living it and changing it for the better. You might say that I am not a footballer or a football fan so I do not get you .look at any industry there are game changers that made a difference.

In music there is the Jackson family, Mariah Carey, in cricket, there is Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Pointing, in medicine there is Dr. Ben Carson and Tiger Woods (golf), Michael Jordan (Basketball), Michael Jackson (Music), and many others.

It is never too late to change your life and start having a better life. My game changers might not sit right with you or hit you in your gut but think about it, develop your own game changers and make it your measuring stick. Imagine if you had learned about these game changers from a young age or when your parents, family, church, school system or community had taught you and encouraged to about these where will you be and what would you have done?

Parents, elders, and teachers you are responsible of rising up young woman and man, teach them things that they can always apply and that will bring results in their lives not to teach them to be slaves to someone else.

Young people, you have the responsibility to look after yourself and see that you have a better future a better life than your parents and brothers. Develop your game changer things that will help you grown and keep you in line towards your achieving dream. Once you develop them, these will be your measuring stick in all you do.

If it is up to you then DO IT!!!

14 Ways To Earn Passive Income In 2021

passive income

By: Claire Makoni

Earn Songwriting Royalties

If you love to write music, you can create passive income by recording your songs and then publishing them through a variety of channels. You earn royalties anytime your music is played on streaming services like Apple Music, or Spotify, or played on the radio. You can even license your music for TV, movies, and videos without the backing of a major record label.

Purchase Music Royalties

Perhaps your talent isn’t to write music. That’s ok, you can still get into the music royalty game by purchasing the rights to song catalogues owned by other artists. Royalty Exchange is an online auction that allows you to bid on existing music catalogues. These are songs that are already earning regular, passive income for their current owners. When you purchase music royalties, you’re buying the future cash flow, which is purely passive income.

Photo Licensing

Photographers can build passive income by selling stock photos online. You’ll need to produce lots of content to earn a decent amount of money, but it can be a nice supplement to other, more labor-intensive work, like wedding or family photography. One benefit to stock photo licensing is that you can sell the same pictures to many different buyers. There is no shortage of stock photo websites where you can sell your work. Dreamstime and Snapwire are just two of the more popular stock photo sites out there.

Record an Audiobook

One of the best ways for content creators to increase their income is by releasing their content in as many formats as possible. For example, if you’ve written a paperback book or even an ebook, you’ll want to consider recording an audiobook version. There is no shortage of people who prefer listening to books instead of reading them. You can record the audio yourself, or pay someone else to do it for you. Once your audiobook is ready to go, it can be available for purchase online for years, making it the ideal passive income source.

Buy and Sell Domain Names

Buying and selling domain names is a bit like trading on the stock market. The goal is to buy low and sell high, but there can be some risk involved. There are people who earn good money buying domain names that they believe will increase in value over time, with the hopes of selling at a profit.

Start a Blog

Over time, it’s possible to create multiple passive income streams with a blog, through affiliate marketing, or display advertising, for example. But building a blog from scratch is anything but passive. You’ll need to be consistent in creating new content, and spend time promoting your blog. One of the best things about blogging is the low barrier of entry. If you have a computer and a wifi connection, you can get started for as little as a few dollars per month.

Start a Podcast

It seems everyone has a podcast these days, and while many people do it out of pure enjoyment, there’s a lot of money that can be made. As you build a reliable following, you can begin selling advertising via sponsorships to brands that wish to get in front of your audience. Make no mistake, there’s a lot of work involved in finding guests and conducting interviews, but the opportunity to build a passive income stream is there.

Start a YouTube Channel

If you can consistently create videos that people want to watch, you can build an audience on Youtube. This is important because, with an audience, you can begin to make money, by joining the YouTube Partner Program. Most of your earnings will come from ads, which are aired within your video content, however, there are more ways to make money. YouTube can also drive traffic to your website and social media channels, making passive income opportunities endless.

Sell Digital Products/Downloadables

Thousands of people earn passive income by creating digital products that people can download and use. From spreadsheets to productivity tools, calendars, and checklists, the possibilities are endless. Once you’ve created your winning product, you can make it available for download on your own website, or through a third-party platform.

Develop an Online Course

If you have expertise in a specific area, rest assured there’s someone out there willing to pay you for your knowledge. You can create an ebook on the topic, or develop an online course, and then sell it on your own website, or on an online learning marketplace like Udemy. No skill is too small to share with others. You could sell a course on creating a killer resume, starting a podcast, or how to travel hack a trip to Europe. With online courses, most of the hard work happens early on, when you’re creating the content. From there, with an effective marketing strategy, you’ll have yourself a nice, passive income stream.

Run Website Display Ads

If you have your own website, you can sign up to have ads displayed within the content on your site. The most well-known ad service is Google Adsense. Adsense displays ads that are relevant to your site content and that match your visitor’s preferences. When guests engage with an ad, you make money. Also, the higher your site traffic, the higher your income.

Affiliate Marketing

If you have your own blog or website, one of the best ways to make passive income is through affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing involves promoting someone else’s product or service, and earning a commission whenever a sale is generated directly from your recommendation. The most well-known affiliate program may be the one run by online retail giant Amazon, but there are thousands of other companies with programs of their own. Affiliate income takes time to build, but if you’re successful, it can be one of the best ways to make passive income.

Dropshipping is a form of e-commerce where the seller doesn’t hold the product, instead, it’s shipped to the customer directly from the supplier. The seller’s job is to find products to buy at a wholesale price, and then sell them at the retail price, by advertising them through an e-commerce store, like Shopify. When orders are placed, they go directly to the supplier who ships the product to the customer. The seller profits from the spread between the retail and wholesale price. Dropshipping has become very competitive, but if you can find a product that people want, and sell it at a profit, there’s lots of passive income to be made.

Learn to Outsource

If you’re an entrepreneur, chances are you have a tendency to want to control all aspects of your business. After all, no one else understands it as you do, nor is anyone else as invested as you are. But the problem with doing everything yourself is that the money you make becomes anything but passive.
