ZimTrade is calling upon all young entrepreneurs to apply for this new and exciting youth export incubation programme that aims to capacitate youth-owned businesses to become export-ready through training and hands-on mentorship fro local and international experts as well as developing market linkages.
With so much entrepreneurship going about in the country and most of them with export opportunities and bring them so much needed foreign currency. Of late Zimbabwe has become a net importer with some notable increases in exports to 489.10 USD Million in December from 475.20 USD Million in November of 2019. There is so much room and opportunities for exports for Zimbabwean businesses.
Zimbabwe’s main exports are tobacco (23 per cent of total exports) and nickel (20 per cent). Others include diamonds, platinum, ferrochrome, and gold. Zimbabwe main export partners are South Africa, China, Congo and Botswana. More and more products are being added to the exports bracket opening more opportunities for small businesses and young entrepreneurs.
ELIGIBILITY
Programme is limited to entrepreneurs or business proprietor aged between 18-35 years, with a locally-owned and value-addition business that has been in operation for at least 2 years. Excludes mining and fuel-related businesses. Terms and Conditions Apply
